The facility offered by Corner Park Garage for you to view details of motor vehicles available for sale is provided solely for information only and to provide you with a facility to research the Corner Park Garage Motor Vehicle Database. Corner Park Garage accepts no responsibility for the availability and/or non-availability of any motor vehicle sourced on the Corner Park Garage Motor Vehicle Database and performance and/or non-performance of a contract entered into between Corner Park Garage and you for the purchase of a motor vehicle, which you have sourced, from the Corner Park Garage Motor Vehicle Database. Customers' statutory rights are not affected.
The display of motor vehicle particulars including without limitation, specifications, mileage quotations and/or prices on the Website or otherwise are for information only and shall not constitute an offer by Corner Park Garage to sell, supply or deliver any motor vehicle. Finance & Insurance Quotes
Any finance and/or insurance quotes provided on the Website are for illustrative purposes only. Finance and/or insurance is subject to status and written quotations. Your credit score may be affected. For the avoidance of doubt, no finance and/or insurance quote shall be deemed to incorporate an offer by Corner Park Garage and/or the relevant finance and/or insurance provider.
Secured Finance
Facilities arranged on your behalf by us, with your full consent, to provide funding for the purchase of Goods. These take the form of Hire Purchase, Personal Contract Purchase and any other form of funding provided by a Financial Institution that uses the Goods as a form of security.
Unsecured Finance
Facilities arranged on your behalf by us, with your full consent, to provide funding for the purchase of Goods. These take the form of Personal Loan, Motor Loan and any other form of funding provided by a Financial Institution that does not require any security being invoked on the Goods.
External Finance Companies
We can assist you with financing your next vehicle. However, retail customers using an external Finance Broker or lender will be charged an admin fee of £299. This is due to the additional work required in order to obtain funds from the third-party lender.
Payment Method
Can be by card, Bank Transfer or Finance Company Transfer if a Secured Finance or Unsecured Finance agreement is in place. Card payments will only be accepted to a maximum value of £500 per vehicle purchase. The cardholder must be present when purchasing with a credit/debit card. All other payment methods are subject to UK Anti Money Laundering (AML) laws and associated legislation.
Place of Business
Represents any place where we trade with face-to-face interaction with you and Our Goods are presented for retail to the general public.
Distance Contract
Represents any form of sale conducted by us to you, as long as you are a Consumer, that does not include any face-to-face contact at one of our Places of Business from (and including) an initial order being raised on a vehicle until the time of delivery of the Goods at which point our contract is concluded. In these cases, the contract is governed by both the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the E commerce regulations, Consumer Protection from Unfair trading Regulations and Consumer Rights Act as appropriate.
Specification
Represents the accurate description of the vehicle make model and derivative of the vehicle and any manufacturer fitted feature of the vehicle such as, but not limited to, engine; colour; wheel size; upholstery; equipment or other feature that has a material effect on the valuation of the vehicle.
Orders and Deposits
Placing an order enables us to remove a vehicle from retail sale to the general public and prepare the vehicle for delivery or collection. To do this, a deposit is required from you; the amount of the deposit required is subject to variation at the sole discretion of us and will not be less than £99 per vehicle (except in exceptional circumstances). This will be taken separately to any reservation fee, where taken. On receipt of the deposit monies We will remove a vehicle from sale to the general public for a period no longer than 7 days. After this point the vehicle will once again become available to the general public, and any other entity may choose to purchase the same vehicle.
If you are ordering a vehicle that you have not had the opportunity to inspect, be it either by way of a Distance Contract or if we are requested by you to move a vehicle from one Place of Business to another, and you decide to not proceed with an order for the vehicle then you are entitled to a full refund of the deposit monies. These monies will be returned by us by way of manual cheque or if a debit/credit card was used, by way of refund of the same amount back to the payment card(s).
In the event where we fail to arrange Secured Finance or Unsecured Finance for you once you have ordered a vehicle, you are entitled to a full refund of the deposit monies. These monies will be returned to you by us by way of manual cheque or, if a debit/credit card was used, by way of refund of the same amount back to the payment card.
Payment
The deposit having been paid upon the placing of an order then the balance payable (or the sum required to complete any initial payment to a Finance Company) is to be paid by you or, if applicable, the 3rd party Finance Company prior to delivery of the Goods. Funds will need to be cleared in our bank account before delivery/collection is arranged.
Delivery
Delivery of the Goods is to be taken at Our Place of Business within 7 days of notification to you that the vehicle is ready for delivery. The Goods shall remain in Our beneficial ownership until full payment for the goods has been received. The risk in the goods, however, shall pass to you upon delivery. If you request us to relocate a vehicle from one Place of Business to another. We reserve the right to charge you the reasonable costs incurred in completing the transfer. These costs will be notified to you prior to you committing to the sale and will be in addition to your deposit requirements. This transfer charge will be non-refundable.
Under Distance Contracts, and in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion, we may arrange and agree a delivery to your fixed place of residence. We will require proof of address to be provided before a delivery is arranged, and proof of identity will be required at the point of delivery. This may involve photographs being taken of you and the vehicle at your place of residence. A delivery charge may be made for this service, the amount of which will be determined in line with the distance required to move the vehicle from Our Place of Business to the delivery address. The delivery charge will be communicated prior to completion of the contract and will be subject to VAT.
Delay in delivery
Unless specifically agreed, the date for delivery of the Goods is not known at time of sale.
Any date provided is an estimate only. We will endeavour to secure delivery of the Goods by the estimated delivery date (if any), but we do not guarantee the time of delivery and shall not be liable for any damages or claims of any kind in respect of delay in delivery. We shall not be obliged to fulfil orders in the sequence in which they are placed.
If we fail to deliver the Goods within 21 days of the estimated date of delivery stated in this contract, you may by notice in writing to us require delivery of the Goods within 7 days of receipt of such notice. If the Goods shall not be delivered to you within the said 7 days, the contract shall be cancelled. You will be entitled to a full refund of deposit monies, including delivery costs in this scenario. Unless specifically agreed we are not responsible for any delays cause by issues outside of our control, including any import or export delays.
Failed delivery charges
If a delivery date is agreed and delivery is attempted without success, Corner Park Garage reserves the right to retain initial delivery costs, plus any fees associated with your delivery (a minimum of £150 will be chargeable). Corner Park Garage then reserves the right to cancel the contract and return the vehicle for sale to the general public. If any documentation or information is passed on to you at this point, including a V5/C (logbook), you are obligated to return these to us within 10 working days. Please contact us as soon as possible before any such incident is likely to occur, and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Transfer of deposit
If you do not pay for and take delivery of the Goods within 7 days of notification that the vehicle is available for delivery, we shall be at liberty to treat the contract as cancelled. If this happens, or if you cancel the contract for any other reason not permitted by this contract, we will endeavour to sell the Goods to another person or company. We will refund your deposit but before we do so, we are entitled to recover from the deposit the additional costs we incur in reselling the vehicle plus any reduction in the sales price achieved. we will keep the deposit whilst we display and advertise the vehicle as being for sale. Once we have sold the goods, we will notify you within 7 days as to how much we have lost as a result of having to re sell. If this amount is less than your deposit, then We will refund the balance of your deposit. We will only ever claim an amount up to the total of the deposit. We will include a statement showing our calculation of our costs. We reserve the right to make a reasonable daily charge for the storage of the Goods. The deposit can however be transferred by you in full to another vehicle on your request at any time within 90 calendar days from the point at which this contract is repudiated. Our 7-day reservation rules will once again apply.
Part exchange
Where we agree to allow part of the price of the Goods to be paid by you delivering a Part Exchange vehicle to us, such Part Exchange vehicle shall be delivered and accepted upon the following conditions:
a. That, after examination of your vehicle and inspection of the accompanying documentation at the time of any agreement being made as to a valuation by us, it shall be delivered in the same condition and within 1,000 miles on the odometer as and when so examined. We reserve the right to revalue your vehicle if you fail to adhere to this requirement. The order and any allowance in respect of a used motor vehicle offered by you in Part Exchange is subject to acceptance and confirmation in writing by us. If we have provided you with a valuation for your vehicle - online, via our website, or by any other communication, this will be considered a quote and is not guaranteed. This can only be verified once a member of our team is able to inspect the vehicle thoroughly
b. That where the Part Exchange vehicle is the subject of a Secured Finance agreement, we shall be entitled to make any such settlement payment to the Finance Company and will, with the consent of that Company, finally discharge such agreement as part of the balance of your vehicle purchase from us.
c. You will disclose to us whether the Part Exchange vehicle is subject to an existing Secured Finance agreement. If this is not disclosed to us and later becomes apparent, you will be liable to repay to us any amounts required to be paid by us to the Finance Company to discharge such agreement. We will conduct our own checks using industry standard ownership verifications to seek confirmation of any Finance Interest placed on the vehicle, however this does not waive your disclosure obligations under this agreement.
d. If this agreement is cancelled after your used vehicle has been delivered to us, and we are required to provide to you, in line with your legal rights, a refund, then we will provide you with the equivalent value of the used vehicle as agreed in the purchase transaction by way of refund. We will not provide a return of your used vehicle.
e. If a cancellation is invoked under this agreement and the amount paid to the Finance Company under clause 12(b) or 12c) as the case may be, exceeds the value agreed in part exchange of the vehicle, you are liable to us for the differences between these amounts with the payment needing to be made within thirty (30) days of you sending notice to cancel this agreement
f. That if the Goods to be delivered by us through no default on the part of us shall not be delivered to you within 21 days after the date of your order or the estimated delivery date, where the date is later, the allowance on the said Part Exchange vehicle shall be subject to a reduction by an amount not exceeding 2.5% for each completed period of 30 days from the expiry of the first mentioned 30 days to the date of delivery to you of the Goods.
g. That if your Part Exchange vehicle is handed over without the necessary documentation, namely V5, MOT Certificate (where applicable), Service History (where applicable), Spare Keys (where applicable), user manuals and any accessories there may be (such as locking wheel nut, radio fascia or remote controls), We are entitled to request security of up to £500 is provided in order for the contract to be concluded and for you to take delivery of the Goods. This security will be repayable within 7 working days on provision of the aforementioned documentation and you have 14 calendar days to provide. Failure to provide the information will result in you forfeiting your entitlement for a return of the security (or the value provided for your vehicle will be adjusted accordingly). We will also expect you to remove any personal possessions and data from the vehicle. We will not be responsible for any personal items lost once the vehicle is in our possession.
h. That if your Part Exchange vehicle, due to the vehicle age requires a valid MOT certificate which is not available, and is being supplied in conjunction with a Distance Contract then you must notify Corner Park Garage prior to Our collection of your vehicle. Failure to do this will result in Corner Park Garage being unable to collect your vehicle and We will require either payment to the value allowed for your vehicle or the event will subject to a Failed Delivery Charge.
i. If we buy a Part Exchange vehicle from you, we will be relying upon your representation that; you are legally capable of entering in to a binding contract to sell the vehicle. you are at least 18 years old. To the best of your knowledge, information and belief you are the sole legal and beneficial owner of the vehicle, the mileage reading on the vehicle is true and accurate and the odometer has not been tampered with, you have disclosed to us all matters which a prudent purchaser would want to know about, such as physical defects in the vehicle (e.g. if it has any mechanical problems or major damage), and the vehicle is registered in the UK. That the vehicle is free from any encumbrance whatsoever, unless previously stated in writing by you to us
j. In the event that we discover at anytime that any of the above representations are (or are likely to be) inaccurate, untrue or false then we reserve the right (at Our sole discretion) to request additional documentation or information from you to determine whether the above representations are untrue or false. In addition, we reserve the right to withdraw any offer to purchase your vehicle with immediate effect, rescind any contract with immediate effect or (where appropriate) seek damages from you.
k. Your part-exchange must include a current V5/C (logbook) at time of sale. This will be checked and verified using DVLA's website. Corner Park Garage reserves the right to charge a £100 documentation holding fee to you, until the correct V5/C has been issued to us. Once this has been verified, you will be entitled to a full refund of the documentation holding fee within 7 days. Failure to provide a correct V5/C within 14 days of the contract being completed will result in your right to a refund being withdrawn.
l. If a valid V5/C logbook is not provided, Corner Park Garage shall not be held liable for any fines, charges or penalties incurred as a result of the registered keeper of the vehicle not being changed.
We may agree to purchase your used vehicle under a Distance Contract. Whilst an indicative price (or guaranteed price if generated via Our online valuation tool) can be estimated for your vehicle based on your description and mileage provided, a final valuation in these instances will not be provided until a physical inspection of the vehicle has taken place by a Corner Park Garage employee or representative of Corner Park Garage to verify the descriptions made are true and accurate.
Price Match Promise
"If you can find an identical car for less at a competing dealer within 5 days, we'll refund the difference"
Referring to our price promise, the following terms and conditions apply. Any reference to these terms will be defined herein:
1. Vehicle must be of identical make, model, condition and specification to the vehicle you have purchased. This includes any factory-fitted optional extras. Where stated, the following terms apply:
1.1 The vehicle must be of the same manufacturer, level of trim (i.e. Ford Fiesta Zetec), and of a similar condition to the vehicle purchased from us. This includes the general condition of paintwork, alloy wheels, number of keys and interior quality.
1.2 Optional Extras only include those that were selected when the vehicle was purchased as new. Any options or specification changes after this date will not be accepted as equivalents.
1.3 Vehicle must be of similar mileage, with a verified mileage of less than 1000 miles' difference as advertised by us at time of sale.
1.4 Vehicle must be of similar road condition, with a minimum of 6 months' MOT remaining.
1.5 Vehicle must have undergone a safety check or vehicle inspection by the retailing dealer comparable to our AA Vehicle Inspection within 6 months. Vehicle cannot have any form of write-off (Category A, B, C, or D - or equivalent), either at time of enquiry, or previously at any time.
1.6 Vehicle must be of identical or lesser number of registered keepers as identified by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).
1.7 Vehicle must be clear of any outstanding Finance markers as identified in a verified HPI report within 5 days.
1.8 Vehicle must possess a full service history, with regular servicing within parameters as outlined by the original vehicle manufacturer. This can be written or digital, and verified by the manufacturer or VAT registered servicing centre as genuine
2. 5 days includes weekends and bank holidays (as defined in the Banking and Financial Dealings Act 1971). The first of 5 days will be defined by the day of initiating the purchase process, by means of a minimum £99 deposit. Day 1 is not your collection or delivery date, or the day the balance is paid on your vehicle.
3. Vehicle must be available at a competing dealer or car supermarket within a 30-mile radius of Corner Park Garages Swansea, SA1 8QB, or Corner Park Garages Llantrisant, CF72 8YR.
4. Vehicle price is the "on the road" price of the vehicle, including any additional administration fees, inclusive of VAT. This excludes any sale prices, discounted or reduced prices arising as a result of possible insolvency, bankruptcy, liquidation, receivership, administration, or any other similar occurrence. Any delivery charges from Corner Park Garages will not be considered as part of this process.
5. Proof must be in the form of a completed order form or written invoice from a competing car supermarket or main dealer within 5 days of your initial deposit at Corner Park Garages, which will be verified. This must include all relevant cost information, and an "on the road" price.
6. Once verified, refunds will be given in the form of an invoice deduction, card refund, cash, cheque or bank transfer at the sole discretion of Corner Park Garages. Refunds can only be made to the same individual as identified on both the invoice from Corner Park Garages, and an invoice from a competing dealer or car supermarket, verified within 5 days of each other.
7. Corner Park Garages will not be liable for any claims, demands, damages or costs (including, without limitation, legal costs) incurred or made against it howsoever arising, whether directly or indirectly from the Corner Park Garages Price Promise.
8. Corner Park Garages reserves the right to amend, change, or remove any aspect of these terms at its' sole discretion without notice.
Right to withdraw
Should your used vehicle be purchased by a Secured Funding or Unsecured Funding method through us, then you have the right to cancel the finance agreement of your goods for 14 calendar days commencing from the day following the date of the delivery or the date the agreement starts, whichever is soonest. However, your vehicle purchase contract with us is unaffected.
Cancellation under Distance Contract
If your contract with us is a Distance Contract, you have a statutory right to return the Goods to us and cancel your purchase within 14 days. The 14 Days commence from the day after the date on which delivery takes place and is inclusive of weekends and bank holidays. In order to exercise the right to cancel you must provide us with a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or email) within this time. To serve notice of your intention to invoke this right please do contact us by any ways. Cancellation under a Distance Contract is subject to the following conditions;
a. There is a duty of care for you to return the Goods in a condition commensurate with that at the time of delivery. We will inspect the goods at the time of return and we reserve the right, entirely at our own discretion, to charge you any amounts required to return the goods to their condition at the time of delivery if we deem that your usage of The goods has not been in line with expected usage over the time they have been in your possession.
b. Clause removed as part of no quibble 14 day exchange policy.
c. If We agree to recover the vehicle We reserve the right entirely at Our own discretion to charge a collection fee that will reflect our costs of collection from your place of residence to Our closest Place of Business. These charges will also be subject to VAT. Any additional mileage on the vehicle will be subject to charges relating to depreciation.
d. Clause removed as part of no quibble 14 day exchange policy.
e. All documentation provided with the Goods at time of delivery is also returned at the same time as the Goods.
f. An agreed location, date and time for a return or collection of a vehicle will be made in writing between you and us which will be no more than 5 days from the notification by you of the intention to return the Goods.
g. We will cancel any additional products you have purchased and refund you any amounts in line with the relevant terms of those products.
h. If your vehicle was purchased using a line of credit organised by us then We will work with your lender to end this agreement on your behalf.
i. If you cancel this Agreement, We will reimburse to you all payments received from you under this Agreement, without undue delay, and not later than:- 14 days after the day on which the We receive the Goods back; or (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the Goods; or If there were no Goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this Agreement.

Complaints
In your complaint please make it clear the nature of your complaint, the store, the registration of your vehicle (if relevant) and your contact details. Our dedicated Customer Service team will try to resolve your concerns as soon as possible. If this isn't possible we will contact you within 5 working days to explain what we are doing and when you can expect a resolution.
We will call or write to you either with a final response advising you of our findings, or an update on our investigations and confirmation of when we expect to be able to provide a final response, if appropriate. In certain circumstances, if you are unhappy with our final response or we do not issue you with a final response in writing within 8 weeks of you contacting us with your concerns, you may be able to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service or an Alternative Dispute Resolution service. Details of your rights will be provided to you as appropriate in your case. If you wish to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service, this must be done within 6 months of Our final response letter.

Trade customers
Trade purchasers are subject to a fixed purchase fee of £299 including vat per vehicle. This is only applicable to the purchase of the vehicle by a member of the motor trade.
Pricing errors and changes
Whilst We try to ensure that all the prices on the Corner Park Garage website and other websites we may use as marketing channels are accurate, errors may occur. If We discover an error in the price of the goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible. you will then be given the option of re- confirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order with a full refund of any deposit made.
If we are unable to contact you using the contact details you provided during the order process, we will treat the order as cancelled and notify you by email. If you decide to cancel your order after we have informed you of a pricing error and you have already paid for the Goods, We will give you a full refund as soon as reasonably possible (and in any event within thirty (30) days of cancellation).
If the retail price of the goods are affected by any change in taxes or duties imposed by HMRC (for example changes in the rate of value added tax) then you will then be given the option of re-confirming your order at the revised price or cancelling your order with a full refund of any deposit made.
Description errors
We have made every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information contained in the website and other media however;

Whilst every effort is made by us to produce up to date product descriptions and specifications, the website and other media should not be regarded as an infallible guide to vehicle products and services, nor does it constitute an offer for the sale of any particular vehicle. Corner Park Garage are not agents of any manufacturer and have absolutely no authority to bind the manufacturers by any express or implied undertaking or representation. Any references to speed or performance should not be taken as an encouragement to drive either dangerously or at speeds in excess of national limits.
All fuel economy figures stated are test figures supplied by our data provider. They have been calculated using official test cycles under test conditions. Under normal use the vehicles actual fuel consumption figures may differ from those achieved through the test procedures, depending on driving technique, road and traffic conditions, environmental factors, and vehicle condition.
We make all reasonable efforts to check the provenance and history of any vehicle we retail to you, including relying on third party vehicle check data. Where an anomaly is detected by you following the sale of a vehicle to you then we require you inform us without delay along with any evidence of this anomaly so that we may investigate and provide you with a remedy under your legal rights and in addition may include reasonable requests for you to cooperate with us to reclaim from the vehicle supplier any losses we experience.
Jurisdiction
Any dispute regarding this agreement will be governed by English Law and will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
